What I`ve learned about people

Is no secret that one of my main passions is for different cultures and languages. Specially living in London you get to meet  people from literally every corner of the world and learn about their traditions and customs. When traveling to other countries I prefer to stay in non-touristic places and talk to as many locals I can, try all their food (I love food) and buy at least one traditional/handicraft item. Earrings and magnets are my top favorite souvenirs.
But what makes every country and place special besides the beautiful landscapes and architecture, are people. And sometimes the people you meet can represent a whole nation. There are times when I just love to be around people and talk and find out things but there are also times when they disappoint deeply.
What have I learned?
I`ve learned that people don`t mean all the things they say. Actually they don`t mean not even half. Coming from a culture being very straight forward and also being brought up as an honest person I like to say what I think and I will never say something if I don`t mean it. And this gave me a difficult time in dealing with letting go of expectations that people would do the same in return. In learning that not all the compliments are sincere, that not every invitation means they would turn up, not all "I will be there for you" is genuine. That not all "forever" actually lasts forever. That people come and go from your life and you have to get used to it and accept they are all a lesson or a blessing and they`ve spent the exact amount of time they were meant to for both encounters to gain from that experience. That you can spend years with some people in a beautiful friendship or relationship and one day they will leave your life without looking back. That you have to take just the nice memories and the lessons and not live in the past because there is so much more to see.
I have learned that people will hurt you and you need to forgive them and wish them well so you can heal and move on. And this doesn`t mean you need to accept them back in your life.
People can be rude, selfish and mean and sometimes it has nothing to do with you and don`t need to take it personal. They can be suffering inside and being hurt and project it into you. But being kind and offer love back will melt even the most "iced" soul.
I have learned that people can be so jealous on other`s success and try to bring you down.
But in all of this I have learned that I need to love and accept people the way they are. And that among these people you will find so many happy souls willing to help you and seeing you grow. That sometimes they will surprise you with how deep they actually are and you misjudged them because of your trust issues. That you need to love and give without expecting anything from that person because is a cycle and it all comes around. You will teach someone, that someone teaches someone else and a completely someone else will love, teach and help you. That some people will stay there no matter how much you push them away, hurt them and treat them bad and this ones are the type #faithinhumanityrestored.
You will find people who value your heart and the right ones will stay in your life. You just need to stay calm, take all the things how they come and trust all has a higher purpose. Including the people we meet in our life.

As da orice pentru una dintre ele acum.

Far away love...

And do you know what hurts me more than your silence?
More than these concrete walls with locked doors you`ve been building between us?
It hurts me the fact you`re not even thinking how much it affects me. That now you`re not thinking at me at all. How much do I suffer when I should be the first person you can confess to but you`re not even replying to my texts. That I feel you don`t trust me and I`m useless in your life and that this week without me was better for you.
It hurts me because I thought I know you and I can find a key to any of your issues or any problem we would occur. I`m trying my best to understand you, to give you time to put yourself together. I`m waiting for you not to come with a plan, just to come. To come back to me as we used to be before when we were talking daily 2-3 hours we were loosing track of time and we were so connected in everything.
What encourages me  is your patience and determination you had when you met me. I was so broken, with my heart in hundreds pieces and my trust smashed. But you risked it and you saw inside the ice cube that I was in, you could read deep inside my soul despite of my way of behaving with you.
This was the first thing that made me madly fall in love with you. All your attention, your romantic side that makes poetries and play guitar in an amazing way. You are so real with real passions in this superficial world. Your passion, the way you look  me in the eyes and how you teached me to hug.The uncontrolled laughing I can have with you. The way I can behave childlike and carefree when I`m with you. The two dimples on your cheeks when you smile. All your faces changes when you smile. It warms me inside seeing you smiling. It also breaks my heart knowing that you probably aren`t doing that now.
Oh God! There are so many things I love at you. You are so gentleman, so gentile,so protective and so caring. You want to protect the people you love, the nature, you love animals, want to help anybody you can and make the world a better place. I`m so fascinated with all of these.
I love you being so mature and thinking twice before saying anything just to make sure you don`t say something unnapropriate. I appreciate your good sense of humour, creativity and spontaneity that makes you such an interesting person.
I adore it when you call me "mi mujer" and I feel I belong to you and nothing can happen to me because I`m safe and protected. When you were tipsy and we came back from dancing and you whispeared in my ear "you`re the one". Maybe you don`t remember but my inner goddess was aplauding with happiness.
You asked me before our first date if I ever wrote about love. No, I haven`t because I never felt it this intense. Now I am writing about you mi amor...
My biggest wish right now is to be loved. I need so much affection to dry all my tears and to calm my heart that is so needy.
Please open yourself to me! Let me be near you from 10.000 miles away. The way we`ve done it before. We can pass through this together. Don`t push me away. Open your heart to receive my love.

"Estare contigo a pesar de todo. Te lo prometo."

Sales, salespersons,SOAP & CO

The clock is 9:00 A.M. and I`m still in the bus trying to keep my eyes open, when I barely hear a voice (and it`s not my imaginary friend) : "The next station is White city! " .
I know I`m late but until I realize this, my feet are already in Millie`s.
- "Americano without milk like usual, right? "
- "No! Today I need a double expresso and a blueberry muffin. It`s Saturday! "
It`s just the beggining of a new day at SOAP & CO where I work as a salesperson for more than 4 months in terrestrail time. I`m searching for my red lipstick in the bag hoping I will also find a smile to put on this sleepy face with dark circles. Anyway for the second problem it`s a solution: an eye cream. And guess what: it`s produced by Soap & Co. Yes! That`s what we are doing: we sell Dead Sea body products and cosmetics. And by ~we~ , I mean a team of 10 romanians and israeli (in total are 9 different teams). Not a permanent team because here the people are always coming and leaving; more often than the Dead Sea`s waves.
Doesn`t matter if you have been before a journalist, a gardener or a barber, after you pass 3 interviews and the company decides you are suitable for this job, all you have to do is: SALES! SALES! SALES! You can cough like a horse, fainting, starving or having  another human problem, you need to concentrate and to sale. Doesn`t matter if yesterday you sold half of the shop and you think the comission will be enough to leave with your whole family in Ibiza, today it`s another day, and you need to start again full of energy. You have to ignore all the english women and their habitual sentences: "I`m in a kind of a rush!" "No thank you (pronunced fenchiu)", " I bought it before" or the english men`s very developed sense of humor: "We don`t need soap. We don`t wash!"
But despite this, there is also a good part besides the white envelope with pounds that is coming every two weeks: you meet a lot of people. It`s like a salad of people. Starting with the very shy asians: chinesse, japanesse, malaysians, koreans, singaporeans for who you need half an hour to stop them, and this after you know at least 5 words in each language. Another hour it takes you just to explain what the products do, what are they good for and how to use them. In the end they usually buy but only after they ask you 3 times  how to use the products.
The next group of beloved people are "Salam walecum!" : arabs from Saudi, Katar, Kuweit, Emirates with their moagizas dressed in Prada, Gucci, LV, but covered by a black robe through you can see only their eyes. After you say the 20-30  words in arabic that you unavoidable learn in this job, they become so impressed that you know their language and you try not to jump of happiness when they say they want 3, 4 sets of products.
Another particular group are indians, bangladesh and pakistani that negociate with you until you start to begging them to understand that it`s not your shop and you can`t do more discount. But anyway they will always say: "I know you can do it for 50. Speak with the manager. More discount. I pay cash now. You can do it.!!!"
Meanwhile the manager is somewhere in the shop prepared all the time for things that he needs to deal with: refunds, angry customers, sad/bored/sleepy employees, other big managers, a diet etc. Even if he wants to punch half of the employees and to shout in the middle of the shop, he is smiling. At least for the moment...
After you succeed to sale some body products it comes the part of facial demonstrations, that  is the next level. Here you need to make the person who seats on the chair to tell you about his life, to confess and to have confidence in yourself. In this way you meet designers from Brazil, guru from India, pastors from Mexico, IT speacilists from Portugal, doctors from Nigeria or divorced scottish women. You can spend one hour, even two with them but at the end when they buy 3 bags with products you feel it worth and they enjoyed as well. Or you can hear the magic words: "I will come back." "I will think about it!" " I will consider it!".
Meanwhile the Saturday is finished and as Sunday is a short day, at 19:00 we are drinking a beer, speak about the week that just passed and making salesperson jokes.
    Tomorrow will be Monday again...
